John Hollander is the author of 18 books of poetry, most recently Picture Window (2003), as well as five books of criticism. In 2003 he edited American Wits: An Anthology of Light Verse, also in the American Poets Project. He received the Bollingen Prize and a MacArthur Fellowship and recently retired as Sterling Professor of English at Yale.
